Road to the Periyar National Park (5h) spread over 777 sq km, where you will discover the beautiful mountainous scenery of spice plantations (pepper, nutmeg, cardamom ...) and tea fields. In this beautiful setting, you can see deer, monkeys and beautiful birds.
Early departure for a walk in the park for wildlife viewing. The afternoon is by boat on the lake that you can discover the flora and fauna. This is the best way to observe wild elephants or buffalo that come to drink. If you wish, you can participate in the integrated night walk in the protection program of the tiger reserve area established by the local authorities. This trek can be done at any time between 19h and 04h. There are many on-site activities, or to book in advance with our reception.
Road through tea and rubber plantations to the magical region of backwaters (4h). Installation on a "houseboat" traditional sampan to explore Kerala in the maze of fascinating canals that weave between land and sea. Navigation Stopping to visit villages, temples and walk in the rice fields where time seems screeching halt. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.
